Precision Colony Picking with Fully Motorized 96-Pin Actuation

CPX™-S features a fully motorized 96-pin actuation system, enabling precise control of each picking pin. This allows the system to adjust the depth and position of each pin based on colony location and agar height, ensuring accurate and consistent colony transfer.

Unlike systems with fixed pin stroke mechanisms, CPX™-S provides enhanced precision and reproducibility across high-throughput workflows.

Cross-Laser Pin Calibration for 99% Picking Accuracy

The integrated cross-laser calibration system ensures accurate alignment of each picking pin prior to operation, achieving over 99% picking accuracy.

This minimizes picking errors and supports reliable, high-quality results in microbiology and synthetic biology applications.

High-Resolution Imaging for Small Colony Detection

With high-resolution imaging at 100 pixels/mm, CPX™-S enables detection of colonies as small as 200 micrometers.

It accommodates up to 2 source plates for colony picking, while supporting up to 4 destination plates for replicating and re-arraying workflows.
