Seven companies — Boditech Med, Mediwhale, AITRICS, Curiosis, Newnaps, Monitor Corporation, and Edgecare — have been selected as Innovative Medical Device Companies by the Ministry of Health and Welfare of Korea.

The Ministry recently announced the official certification status of innovative medical device companies.

Among them, six companies received the Innovation Growth certification, which applies to companies with annual revenue of less than KRW 50 billion and an R&D investment ratio of at least 8%. These companies have demonstrated rapid growth this year, driven by their technological capabilities.

Curiosis, a laboratory automation company specializing in real-time observation and recording of live cells, successfully completed its IPO on the KOSDAQ last month.
